Hello!

Thanks for checking out the City of Gladstone’s website. I was honored to begin as the Gladstone Police Department’s Chief of Police on May 1, 2009. The outstanding men and women of G.P.D. work hard to address public safety issues in order to sustain an excellent quality of life for the Gladstone community. We are a full-service police department, on-duty 24 hours a day, working in partnership with the people we serve to solve crime problems. We offer the following law enforcement services:

• Patrol - crime reporting
• Traffic - Enforcement and accident reports and investigations
• Detective - Criminal investigations
• Police Records - Request copies of police and traffic accident reports
• School Resource Officer - Assigned to the Gladstone school district
• Bicycle Patrol - General police work and park patrol
• Municipal Ordinance Specialist - Regulation of city code compliance and community livability
• Dog Control - Licensing and city code regulation
• Reserve police officers - Supplement to patrol special functions
• Volunteers - Non-sworn community members performing a variety of administrative tasks

Our services act as an enhancement to maintaining the livability of our community while enforcing state, county and city laws. The entire department is ready to help you with your law enforcement need.
