GLADSTONE SENIORS FOUNDATION
Funding for the Gladstone Senior Center comes from many sources: The City of Gladstone, Clackamas County Social Services, Gladstone/Oak Grove Kiwanis, and individual contributions and donations.
In addition, we’ve recently established the Gladstone Seniors Foundation Foundation as a separate tax deductible non-profit to provide an additional source of funding for the Center. The Foundation directs and maintains an Endowment Fund to deposit donations. In this Fund donations are invested and not spent, but only a portion of the earnings or interest of the Fund will be available to be used for senior programs and services.
With your help, the foundation will help the Senior Center to continue to do the following:
- Serve 12,000 meals a year
- Provide 4,500 rides a year
- Offer medical screening, clinics, flu shots, case management, and advocacy
- Provide interest groups such as hiking, theater, and Book Club
- Open our doors to over 1,000 people a month
How can you help?
The Foundation accepts all gifts, no matter how small or large, and Planned Gifts such as: Bequests by Will, Beneficiary of Insurance Policies, Stocks or Retirement Funds.
