High Rocks Park
USE PARK AT OWN RISK- ALL CITY PARKS AND PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT IS OPEN BUT NOT SANITIZED.
1.55 Acres. Located on the Clackamas River in the 82nd Drive commercial area, High Rocks Park is used year round by fishermen and during the summer by some picnickers. The lower level, which is subject to yearly flooding, is unimproved and the river conditions throughout the park can be very hazardous. Swimming is not recommended. Because of the hazard, the High Rocks Park Lifeguard Program: An agreement between the City of Gladstone, the City of Oregon City and American Medical Response (AMR) continues the lifeguard program each summer at the High Rocks area beginning on Memorial Day and continuing through Labor Day. This service, which is provided at no cost to either city and is coordinated with the Gladstone Fire Department, is intended to reduce water related accidents along this hazardous stretch of the Clackamas River. Thanks to AMR for their excellent community service!
