Audit Committee

The Audit Committee consists of five (5) residents who are appointed by the City Council. The role of the Audit Committee shall be advisory and any recommendations it provides to Council shall not be substituted for any required review and acceptance by City Council.

Duties of the Audit Committee are:

  • Provide recommendations regarding the selection of the external auditor to City Council;
  • Make a recommendation to City Council on accepting the annual audit report; and
  • Review every corrective action plan developed by the city and assist the City Council in the implementation of such plans.

The Audit Committee meets when called.
