RECRUITMENT
Read each recruitment notice carefully and submit all required materials. Unless specifically stated, position openings require completion of a City of Gladstone Employment Application.
The City will only respond to submittals for vacant positions. Allow two weeks from the date of closing to hear from the City regarding the status of your material submittal. All candidates will be notified by email or telephone whether or not they are moving forward in the process.
Depending upon the type of position for which you have applied, there will be various steps in the recruitment process. Typical examples include, but are not limited to: interview(s), general background check, drug test, functional physical capacities test, driving license and record verification, written test(s), formal background check, fingerprinting, credit history report, and comprehensive medical and psychological test.
