IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE FALSE ALARM REDUCTION PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF GLADSTONE
In order to reduce the number of false alarms and increase time for police officers to respond to emergencies and other legitimate calls for service, the City of Gladstone has a standing Alarm Ordinance (Municipal Code, Chapter 5.60).
As of November 27, 2023, the City of Gladstone has partnered with Alarm Program Systems, LLC/CitySupport to administer the Gladstone Alarm Program. The new mailing address, website address, phone number, and email address are provided below:

Per Ordinance, every residence or business operating an alarm system in Gladstone must obtain a permit and renew it on an annual basis.
It is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure that the alarm system is in proper working order at all times. False alarms can be a drain on police services and are subject to fines according to the following schedule (counted during the course of a permit year):

Bike Helmet Program
The Gladstone Police Department has a free bicycle helmets program. For children and adults.
Stop by the Police Department Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for a free fitting and a free helmet.

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS
The City of Gladstone is happy to introduce our new NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS program.
This is an inventive way to help people with hardships and the elderly or infirmed who have code enforcement issues on their property.

To apply to be a part of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, please complete the Volunteer Application Form as well as the Background Check Authorization Form.
