Parking Pass at Meldrum Bar Park

The City of Gladstone has introduced a new, non-resident parking fee for Meldrum Bar Park. Proceeds will help pay for park maintenance and improvements

Gladstone residents are eligible to receive free parking passes for Meldrum Bar Park (up to two passes per address).

It only takes 3 steps to apply for your free annual Meldrum Bar Parking Passes:

1. Visit the Gladstone Civic Center, 18505 Portland Ave. Mon.-Fri. 8:00 AM-5:00 PM  with a piece of mail with your name and Gladstone address as well as a valid picture ID.

2. Once you enter the building, go to the window labeled “Utility Billing”

3. You will be asked to complete a short application and can be presented with up to two parking passes at that time.

Once residents have completed the steps above to request an annual parking pass for Meldrum Bar Park, renewal information will be mailed by the first business day of the month the pass expires.

Meldrum Bar Park’s New Parking Fee – Five Things to Know
  1. A new parking fee – $3 per day or $40 annually – starts in June at Gladstone’s Meldrum Bar Park.
  2. Proceeds will contribute to the cost of park operations – currently supported only by Gladstone taxpayers.
  3. The fee will be paid by visitors who live outside Gladstone.
  4. Gladstone households can obtain a free parking pass from City Hall. Please bring official ID and a piece of mail.
  5. Visitors can use an automated pay station at the park entrance that will accept credit cards only.
