Gladstone Library Blue Ribbon Committee (GLBRC)

The City of Gladstone has formed the Gladstone Library Blue Ribbon Committee (GLBRC) to help shape the future of the Old Library building.

This temporary advisory committee will guide redevelopment goals, evaluate community feedback, and recommend options for reuse of the site. If you’re passionate about Gladstone’s future and bring experience in planning, education, arts, finance, or local business, we encourage you to apply.

The committee will meet 3–4 times between late October 2025 and January 2026.  The Committee consists of the following members, appointed by the City Council:

  • Andrew Labonte, City Council
  • Natalie Smith, Planning Commission (alternates Andriel Langston and Stephanie Carlson, Planning Commission)
  • Nancy Eichsteadt, Clackamas County Library Board
  • Kathy Wiseman, Resident
  • Kadoh Swiatkowski, Resident
  • Kyle Donovan, Resident
  • Nicole Quackenbush, School District Board Member
  • Ariella-Sophie Sternberg, Arts/Cultural Organization Representative
  • Steve Perkins, Clackamas County Economic Development
