GENERAL INFORMATION:

Passengers must be at least 60 years of age (or Medicaid-verified) and shall be self-reliant or be accompanied by a personal escort during transport. Wheelchair passengers must notify Center staff before the trip. Seat belts are required to be worn at all times. No smoking or consumption of food or drink is allowed while in the Center transport vehicle; please refrain from unnecessarily talking with the driver, making loud noises, or demonstrating distracting behaviors.

TRANSPORTATION FEES:

For day trips, a donation of $2.00 is requested for each one-way trip ($4.00 round trip). No one will be denied service because of an inability to donate towards the actual cost.

RIDE REQUESTS:

Ride requests for Gladstone residents are taken by a Center volunteer receptionist beginning at 9:00 am Monday-Friday; the schedule is subject to holiday closure. Call 503.655.7701.

Day trips are to be scheduled 24 hours in advance

Medical appointment ride requests are to be scheduled 48 hours in advance. Passengers should schedule their appointment time between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm. Please let staff know the length of the appointment as the Driver will not attend the appointment with the Passenger. The Passenger must be available for pickup from the appointment by 3:30 pm.

Destinations include the Center for lunch or activities, local salons, banks, and shopping as well as other destinations inside the city limits of Gladstone and around the area of Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City as well as Kaiser facilities in the Sunnyside area.
