Community Center Volunteer

Volunteering is a fulfilling and rewarding way to contribute your skills and time. The Community Center staff serves as the central hub, while our volunteers act as the spokes that keep everything going smoothly. There are many volunteer opportunities available, and we invite you to explore them to find one that interests you.

• Tax Assistance through (AARP)
• Blood Pressure
• Home Bound Meals Delivery Drivers
• Visitors for Homebound Seniors
• Front Desk Receptionists
• Nutrition Program Assistants 
• Coordinators for Hiking Group, Pinochle, Bridge, Bingo, Bingo Caller, Gardening, and Activities
• Cashiers, Servers, Dishwashers, and Kitchen Helpers
• We also need entertainers for special events and functions. From piano players to choir groups, we would appreciate hearing from you

To apply to be a volunteer at the Gladstone Community Center, please complete the Volunteer Application Form (printable copy can be found HERE) as well as the Background Check Authorization Form. In addition to the background check we will also need all volunteers to complete an Orchards Background check, all forms available in supporting documents below.  All completed forms should be submitted to the City Recorder at Gladstone City Hall, located at 18505 Portland Avenue, Gladstone, OR 97027.
