Sherwood Forest Watermain Replacement Project, Phase 1

The City of Gladstone is submitting a Public Notice and Invitation to Bid for the Sherwood Forest Watermain Replacement Project, Phase 1. A goal of the Gladstone City Council, this project consists of the installation of approximately 300 linear feet of new 8-inch watermain to improve system reliability and provide critical redundancy in advance of a larger watermain replacement project planned for 2027. Phase 1 improvements will establish a secondary water supply route to the Sherwood Forest neighborhood, ensuring continued water service during construction activities associated with Phase 2 of the watermain replacement project, anticipated to begin in mid-2027.
Bidders are asked to provide Planholder information to the Public Works Office via email if they download project documents. You may request to be added to the Planholders list by emailing complete contact information to: PWOffice [at] ci.gladstone.or.us (PWOffice[at]ci[dot]gladstone[dot]or[dot]us), please put Planholder Request, Sherwood Forest Watermain Replacement Project, Phase 1 in the subject line.
Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via email to PWOffice [at] ci.gladstone.or.us (PWOffice[at]ci[dot]gladstone[dot]or[dot]us) with the project name in subject line no later than end of business on July 15, 2026. Addenda, if any will be issued by July 17, 2026.
Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, Utility Billing window, located at 18505 Portland Ave. Gladstone, Oregon 97027, Attention: Kristin Bowen.
Bids may be hand-delivered to the Utility Billing Window until 2:00 p.m. on July 22, 2026. Bids submitted via United States Postal Service (USPS) mail must be received no later than 1:45 p.m. on July 22, 2026. A bid opening will follow at 2:05pm in the Community Room at City Hall, attendance at the bid opening is not required.
